Each year, I travel across Mauritania, leaving the tracks behind to venture ever deeper into the vastness of the desert. Since 2022, a new 2cv — this one a 4x4 — has been my means of transport.
⚠️ A very high level of skill is essential. Runs must be performed below your maximum technical ability to minimize risks. In the middle of the desert, no rapid assistance is possible: no helicopter, no immediate rescue.
LONG EXPEDITIONS : Why offer them to women rather than men ?
There is also the desire to tell these adventures through images. Women are still relatively few in number when it comes to undertaking so-called “extreme” journeys, and these stories—still rare on YouTube—naturally spark curiosity. Even though my videos are not monetized, it is always deeply rewarding to see that they resonate and find their audience.
TECHNICAL EXPEDITIONS : Why offer them to men rather than women ?

I am not a tour operator, just a guide to new horizons, driven by the desire to share an experience with those who feel the call.
These adventures are demanding—true personal challenges that require commitment, adaptability, and a taste for effort, far from a simple stroll.
This approach is based above all on sharing and the spirit of adventure. Each expedition is voluntary: only a contribution toward fuel costs is requested, depending on the distance traveled and fuel prices in Mauritania. And when the adventure takes place without a vehicle, there is simply nothing to plan for.
A passion is meant to be shared, not sold.
Today, I’ve chosen to introduce Mauritania to adventurous and athletic women—either by supporting them in their own challenges or by inviting them to take part in mine.
Beyond sharing my passion for the Sahara, I create a video each time so that the experience can be shared and inspire those who dream of discovering the desert.
I am also looking for experienced male athletes with an adventurous mindset and a high level in specific disciplines: freestyle MTB, downhill MTB, kiteskate, kitesurf…
The goal is to film runs in the spirit of our Fat & Furious sessions 1, 2, and 3 with Boris, who unfortunately won’t be available this year.

Because travel is, above all, about connection. I appreciate sensitivity, attention to detail, and a certain way of experiencing places rather than simply seeing them. I have often found this depth more naturally among women… which makes the experience richer for me.
Because the current reality is that some extreme disciplines are still predominantly practiced by men, and therefore the skill sets involved are… different.
